Our Community

Life at St. Andrew's extends well beyond Sunday morning. We are a congregation that gathers to celebrate, serve, and simply enjoy each other's company — on the river, around town, and in the valleys we call home. Explore the traditions and outreach efforts that make our parish a living, breathing community of faith.

Parish Life

Faith is better shared, and we find plenty of reasons to come together beyond Sunday worship. From pet blessings to summer cookouts to lazy days on the Yellowstone, our parish traditions reflect the warm spirit of the community we've built together.

St. Andrew’s Yard

All Creatures Great and Small Are Welcome

Our beautiful side yard is a welcoming space open to the whole community, featuring a playground thoughtfully rebuilt in 2024 using refurbished wood from the original structure along with new additions. The design was inspired by ideas from children in the parish and brought to life in partnership with Josh Olson and local schools, which also use the space as an outdoor classroom during the week.

The yard doubles as the only fenced-in dog park in Livingston, offering a safe place for pets to play. We kindly ask all visitors to clean up after their animals and ensure the gate stays closed. During the warmer months, water is available via an outdoor spigot for both people and pets to enjoy.

Community Outreach

We believe faith calls us beyond our walls. Our congregation is active in the broader community year-round — lending their hands, their time, and their resources to efforts that make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors. Below are some of the ways we show up.

Pastoral Care Support

In the Episcopal tradition, caring for one another is a sacred calling. Our clergy and trained lay ministers are dedicated to supporting members of our congregation through life's most vulnerable seasons — bringing communion to those who cannot worship with us, lifting up prayer requests, and offering visits to those who are homebound or hospitalized. You are never far from the love and care of this community.

If you or someone you know is in need of pastoral care, we invite you to contact St. Andrew’s leadership by calling (406) 222-0222 or submitting a request using the link below. We would be honored to help.
